Umberto Santoro is a photographer working between Palermo, Venice and Milan. He works with cultural institutions, galleries, magazines and brands — exhibition and installation documentation, portraits, reportage and moving image. His artistic research moves through archives and a critical reflection on the image as historically sedimented matter, working on the tensions between perception, memory and power.
